Mr. Ismayilov Aslan Ziyaddin was born in 1958 in Gardabani, Georgia.     From 1975 till 1977 he worked as a turner at the Krasnodar Compressor Plant.     In 1983 Ismayilov received his law degree from Kuban State University, Russian Federation, with honors. From 1983 till 1986 he worked as an acting people’s judge at Neftekumsk. Later he was promoted to the post people’s judge of Andropov district in Stavropol region, Russian Federation.     In 1986-1989 he worked as the Chairman of Zelenchuk District People’s Court in the Stavropol region. In 1989 – 1993 he was the prosecutor at the Office of the Prosecution General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Department of the Control over Judiciary In 1993-1994 he worked as a senior consultant of the Department on State and Legal issues of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan.     From 1996 to 2002 he participated in the series of courses on human rights organized in Budapest, Warsaw, the Hague, Strasbourg, etc.     Since 1996 he has been the founder of the “Visa” law firm while since 2006 he launched “Ismailov & partners” law firm.     Starting since 1996 he has participated in multiple conferences and events held in the headquarters of the international organization such as UN in New York and Geneva, OSCE in Warsaw and Council of Europe in Strasbourg.     He gave speeches at numerous events and held press conference in Columbia University, Fordham University, University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Foundation, Institute of Peace and Democracy, Radio Liberty in Washington office and others.     Has a PHD in Philosophy.     Married, has 3 children.
